Dear Balance Seekers,

Welcome!  I’m Joey Remenyi and I can teach you how to consciously use neuroplasticity to repair persistent dizziness, disequilibrium or tinnitus. To help you get the most out of your Starter Kit, I recommend that you also use The 7 Days of Support audios.

I’m here to guide you to better understand and control your own recovery. 

Try a ‘mindfulness body scan’ (your first home exercise) and a standing body scan (in the video below) daily as a starting home practice.  This will get you ready to begin ROCK STEADY.  You can join the closed Facebook group to hear other people’s experiences and stories.  AND explore the case studies and read about the ROCK STEADY data where we are collecting client outcomes.  

Listen to your peers share their recovery process with recordings of GROUP CALLS.  The Live calls were recorded between March 29th and May 3rd, 2018.  You have access to the first call in this program.

Get Started Today!

This is a simple and powerful little home exercise that really helps us to explore our centre of gravity and fine tune our inner compass. The body uses its sense of touch to help it balance.

The more we can begin introducing a variety of different exercises, the better our body, brain, and balance organs can recover. Daily practice is great.

NOTE: Only do what feels safe and achievable. Never push yourself to do something that you do not feel ready for. We are all different. Get the tools you need to do things at your own pace within ROCK STEADY.

Head Movements and Our Ear Reflexes!

Try this exercise when you feel ready. Stand in a corner to keep yourself safe and supported. You can also try this sitting down if you wish, there are no rules. You can choose how and when you want to build your own balance reflexes.

If you have tried this before, practise using your beginner’s mind to try again with an open mind. Feel into your feet, legs, and body. Find your steadiness without judging yourself or your feelings of dizziness – the body is looking for its balance. 

Self-compassion and Our Mind

There are plenty of tools we can use to help us better relate to our inner world (our thoughts, ideas, beliefs).  It will be important for you to practise non-judgment, honesty and learn how to work with your moment-to-moment life- so that you can respond effectively more often.  Within the ROCK STEADY program, you will learn many ways to elegantly navigate this process for yourself.  Listen to the LIVE ROCK STEADY Group Call as your peers with vertigo or tinnitus start designing their own home program.
